I thank all of our SOBs for thinking what we say is worth passing on.
Good conversation shared can only improve the blogging community.

Should anyone question this badge’s validity, send him or her directly to me. This award comes with a full “Liz said so” guarantee. It is endorsed by Kings of the Hemispheres, Martin and Michael, and backed by my brothers, Angelo and Pasquale.

Yep, I still fully endorse this badge of achievement :-)

Looks like the blog made a smooth transition, Liz. How’s life at Erati and BlogMedia going? A bit different from FineFools, I would presume?

Just going through the .erati sites today - from your sidebar links you look the odd one out, maybe a renaming to success.erati.com would do the trick :-)

    Martin,
I’ll get you a drink. Surely you need on if you’re thinking this blog is going to be called erati something. It wouldn’t quite fit. I don’t think.

It’s a stellar group with a fine infrastructure, but I’ve always been just a little bit different–we know that. So I think I’ll do well, staying with the name that I’ve got . . . though I’ve been thinking about adding a “s.” Successful blog(s).

Here you go. The nachos are still free. :)

    Liz,
you, a little bit different, c’mon! :-) … oh yeah, you’re the one that came up with the cheeky SOB badge - now that’s different.

Adding a “s” - are you trying to say you’ve got more blogs, Miz Liz :-)

    Now, Martin,
You know that the SOB part was mine, but the badge was Mike’s idea.
And I’m thinking that I’d just be all inclusive and let you guys hang out. You know “Successful blogs” are really cool and Successful bloggers hang out here.

    That kind of thing.
    Liz ;)

Wow! What an honor and surprise. I really don’t know what I’ve done to deserve it but I will treasure it. Thanks, Liz. You’re a gem.

    Hsien,
You took the conversation out into the blogosphere. Granted it was about dissing someone, but it qualified in my book nonetheless. :) It was fun to be able to include there. Congratulations on being an SOB!

    Liz,
Nice vision - successful bloggers hanging out virtually with other successful bloggers.

So you are the Queen SOB then … seeing it was your idea ;-)

btw, how about making the logo a link back to the home page - I may not see it, but I can’t see a direct link back.

    Hi Martin,
I like that idea. Though I’d rather be a princess. The queen takes all the stuff. The princess gets to dance at the parties.

There are a few tweaks left–like getting all of the pictures reloaded–so I’ll add the link in the header to the list. I know I rely on those kinds of shortcuts myself, so I know they’re important. Anything for the king of the Southern Hemisphere, Martin.

Okay, it’s Princess. I was going to initially write “Mother of SOB” but thought nah…

You could’ve been a Queen but you’ve gone for the Princess so you are going to have to do what the King (even though it’s only King of the other hemisphere) tells you to do.

Now this King has had enough for today (it’s 35 degrees right now (celcius, that is) - and that’s annoyingly hot) so I’m off to the beach and then some golf.

    Martin,
Good choice to avoid that Mother thing . . .
Hey, don’t you go flaunting your beach weather to this Chicago princess or there could be trouble. :)

    Have fun at the beach.
