What is Tuesday Open Comment Night?
On Tuesday nights at 7pm Chicago time, we open the microphone and comment box. We have a conversation like real people do. Well, sort of . . .
Each week we pick a topic and talk to each other. We shoot comments sometimes as fast as 2 per second; sometimes we talk a whole lot slower.
It’s been called live social media and it’s been live blogged five times or so.
We just call it fun. Dancing has been known to occur. There are always snacks and beverages from the sidebar. Stories always are told.
It’s Like Open Mic Only Different
Here’s how it works.
It’s like any rambling conversation. Don’t try to read it all. Jump in whenever you get here. Just go to the end and start talking. EVERYONE is WELCOME
The rules are simple — be nice.
There are always first timers and new things to talk about.
It something between a live video game, live TV and a bunch of kids with a BIG imagination. We usually get around 300 comments. The record is over 450.
It’s hard to explain unless you experience it, but everyone who does has fun, for sure and leaves with at least one new friendship. So if you’re looking for new blogging friendships . . . meet me Tuesday at Open Comments. You know that I’ll be here. 🙂
